New Zealand Rugby (NZR) has confirmed the previous postponed four games, dates, venues. This weekend DHL Super Rugby Pacific games will happen with spectators, and they can now plan their full season schedule with certainty.
Two other changes have been made to the New Zealand game schedule to accommodate the four games.
The DHL Super Rugby Pacific rescheduled games are as follows:
Round 7
Sunday, 3 April: Hurricanes vs Chiefs, Sky Stadium, Wellington, 3.35 pm – Postponed from Round 5
Round 8
Friday, 8 April: Highlanders vs Moana Pasifika, Forsyth Barr Stadium, 7.05 pm – Postponed from Round 5
Saturday, 9 April: Hurricanes vs Crusaders, Sky Stadium, Wellington, 4.35 pm – Moved from Friday 8 April
Round 9
Tuesday, 12 April: Hurricanes vs Moana Pasifika, Sky Stadium, Wellington, 7.05 pm – Postponed from Round 4
Friday, 15 April: Crusaders vs Blues, Orangetheory Stadium, Christchurch, 7.05 pm – Postponed from Round 5
Saturday, 16 April: Chiefs vs Moana Pasifika, FMG Stadium, Waikato, 4.35 pm – Moved from Friday 15 April
Chris Lendrum, general manager of NZR Pro Rugby and Performance, said: “Approval of these games reassures our players, coaches, fans, and venues as we welcome the move to a near-normal broadcast. We will welcome fans back to our Stadium, and now we can also rejoice the confirmation of the full- draw."
Lendrum said the players' health was a top priority when rescheduling games were postponed due to the Covid-19 pandemic.
