Springboks 2023 Fixtures

 

In July, the Springboks will start their 2023 campaign, where they will face Australia in the first round of the shortened Castle Lager Rugby Championship in Pretoria. Before the Rugby World Cup, they will compete against Argentina in Johannesburg in the final match.

The Springboks will play the Pumas in Argentina in August before battling against Wales and the All Blacks in Rugby World Cup warm-up matches that will be held in Cardiff and London, respectively, before the mega event in France, which will begin the second weekend of September.

On Saturday, July 8, at Loftus Versfeld in Pretoria, the Springboks' first Castle Lager Rugby Championship Test against Australia will begin the team's international campaign. On Saturday, July 15, they will take on the All Blacks in New Zealand.
Two weeks later, on Saturday, July 29, they will back to South Africa to finish their campaign against the Pumas at Emirates Airline Park in Johannesburg.

The Boks will play against Australia in Pretoria for the first time since 2016, and they will play Argentina in Johannesburg for the first time since 2013. South Africa won both of those games by scores of 18-10 and 73-13, respectively.

On Saturday, August 5, 2023, South Africa will play an away match against Argentina and then play against Wales at the Principality Stadium on Saturday, August 19. On 25th August 2023 will compete against New Zealand at Twickenham.

On Sunday, September 10, South Africa will begin defending their Rugby World Cup championship against Scotland in Marseille. Pool games against Tonga in Marseille, Romania in Bordeaux, and Ireland in Paris will follow on October 1.
