The most prestigious international Rugby event, the Bledisloe Cup, will take place on July 29, 2023, when Australia will take on the All Blacks.
The Wallabies will play their traditional adversaries, the All Blacks, to win their first series in more than 20 years.
Can the Australians end their trans-Tasman curse once and for all? Or will things continue as usual for the people of New Zealand?
The first game will be played in Australia at the MCG in Melbourne on July 29.
The second game will be played at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin, New Zealand, on August 5.
The 2023 Bledisloe Cup match one will start at 7:45 p.m. AEST at the MCG in Melbourne, and the second match will commence at 12:35 p.m. AEST, or 2:35 p.m. local time in New Zealand, at Forsyth Barr Stadium in Dunedin.
According to Andy Marinos, the head of Rugby Australia, the annual Bledisloe Cup was shortened from three to two games in February 2022 due to a mutual decision due to an extended stretch of unsuccessful performances for Australia.
Over the years, our games against each other have been plentiful, yet we haven't achieved success. It's important to note that it's not because we are avoiding it, but rather because we believe taking a pause would be beneficial. Marinos explained that this break will allow us to explore fresh opportunities by competing against other nations.
