The Wallabies will host their inaugural international rugby match against Springboks at the Sydney New Allianz Stadium on 3rd September 2022.

The venue attracts 42,500 spectators worldwide, brings fans closer to the game, and creates a unique viewing experience.

Fans will get 100% rain protection on all seats, with clear sight lines to the field, video screens, and other viewers' seating areas to increase the experience on the day of the event.

Better convenience will give more chances for all age groups, backdrops, genders, and mobility to experience Wallabies games like never before.

The Wallabies will play with world champion Springboks for two weeks in a row at the 2022 eToro Rugby Championship, seven days before the two teams meet at the Adelaide Oval.

"We are delighted to be hosting our first international event at the new Allianz Arena," said Andy Marinos, CEO of Rugby Australia.

"It will be an amazing experience for the Wallabies to challenge the World Champion Springbok in front of over 40,000 fans and I'm sure those present will never forget it.

I am very thankful to the NSW government for their support to host the test and appreciated them making a world-class stadium in Sydney."
